What I do
From a single room to an entire house — walls, woodwork, hand-painted kitchens and furniture — prepared properly and finished to last.
01 — Interior
Walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors and fine joinery — brought to a smooth, even, hard-wearing finish. I work to the closeness of the line and the depth of the colour, in the paints best suited to each surface and room.
02 — Joinery & Furniture
Some of my most rewarding work — and a real speciality. Hand-painting kitchens, bookcases, media units, wardrobes and fitted joinery, brought to a smooth, hard-wearing finish with real depth of colour. Cabinetry and furniture are properly degreased, sanded and primed, then built up in durable coats made to stand up to daily life.
03 — Wallpapering
Fine papers hung with patience and precision. From a single statement wall to a whole room — walls prepared and lined properly first, so the finished paper sits flat, straight and clean.
04 — Preparation
The quiet, essential groundwork a fine finish depends on. Filling, sanding, caulking, repairing cracks and making good, priming and sealing — done thoroughly, never rushed. It's the part you don't see, and the part that decides everything you do.
How a project runs
I come and see the rooms, talk through what you have in mind, and take everything down properly.
A clear, written quote — scope, paints and finishes, and a realistic timescale. No surprises.
Careful preparation, then decoration — clean, dust-sheeted and tidy, room by room.
We walk the finished work together. It's only done when you're entirely happy.
